Repossession hit me hard.
Repossession, Repossession, Repossession. The process in which something is taken away from ones possession. A very scary concept.
I had recently come across some bad luck. With the credit crunch taking its toll on lives around the island, and the loss of my job as a result, I was left at a bit of a loose end. I have recently been released from the big house, thus rendering me almost unemployable.
the company I was working for had been hit hard, they were stung financially and had to let go of such luxuries as cleaners. Who happened to be the cleaner for them? Me. How and where would I get a job from now?
I was unemployed for a month with a steady income of just 60 every 2 weeks. I was getting no luck, I decided I would get some temp jobs. I was doing odd jobs here and there, I needed cash in hand.
little did I know that this was illegal. Instead of confronting me, somebody decided to call the benefit agency. I would face time or pay a hefty fine plus all monies owed back. I was in some serious trouble.
One Monday morning (why are Mondays the gloomiest days?) a letter dropped on my porch floor, they were going to repossess my house! I had neglected to respond to their previous repossession letters and failed to pay monies owed.
My only option was to resort to crime, but I had done that previously, got the t-shirt, and look where I had ended up? A good Samaritan came to my rescue and told me about cash for houses.
if your require money and have equity (I had a house) cash for houses will buy your house from you. Oh yesand pay cash! I was saved from repossession, I could pay the benefit agency and live another day out in the open air!
The Samaritan took me in when I was left homeless, gave me a job in his dry cleaning business, ironing. After many hours spent under his wing, I can now live safely under the knowledge that crime does not pay, and has helped me to realise how to avoid repossession in the future.
always be honest. Stay true to life. Stay true to your heart.
